Description:
- One of the most popular establishments in the University area is the year-old Yogurtland, which is a new store on the corner of McCully and University Avenue, where Volcano Joe's used to be, right across from the University of Hawaii Manoa campus. Day or night, rain or shine, this place draws both college crowds and general yogurt lovers. The concept is quite simple. You choose from two different cup sizes (both are decently big), and then you go to one of the many yogurt stations to serve yourself a combination of flavors you want. Then, head to the next station – the topping station – where you can find fresh fruit (kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, mango, etc), sprinkles, candy bar chunks, as well as condensed milk and an array of liquid toppings. Finally, you reach the cashier where you weigh your item, and are charged 39 cents per ounce. Expect to pay about $4-5 per yogurt cup. Most yogurt flavors are nonfat, and the toppings are fresh and yummy. For more info, visit them online at http://www.yogurt-land.com
