Description:

  • More than a million people a year pay tribute to the U.S. Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. On December 7, 1941, the Japanese laid siege to the Pacific port, and is considered "ground zero" for America's entry into World War II. The USS Arizona serves as the final resting place for over one thousand crew members, whose names remain engraved on the white wall of the floating memorial.
