Plum Trail - Honolulu

  • Description:

    • This 1.7 mile moderately difficult forested trail begins at the old Civilian Conservation Corp. area and climbs gradually across the mountain through a planted forest of ash, redwood, sugi, and other species until it joins the Haleakala Ridge Trail. Numerous plum trees bearing fruit during the summer can be found along the trail. Moreover, the Plum, Redwood, Haleakala Ridge and Polipoli Trails form a loop trail worth hiking (3.5 miles).
