Public Question Asked by free3rhyme about Honolulu

Do I need to bring my passport to go to Hawaii?

I will be coming in from the US, though I am not a US citizen but I have a permanent resident card. Do I still need to bring my passport?

Hawaii is a US state. So if you are a united states citizen you do not need your passport.

No need for the passport, but be sure to have your permanent resident card.

Legally you need to either bring your permanent resident card or your passport. Only need to show if somehow an immigration officer encounters you and asks you to prove that you can be in US legally. How likely is that to happen???
