We are staying at Sunset Beach, what is a "must do" while we are there from March 13-20th?

Aloha and welcome to Hawaii,
If staying at North Shore a couple of "must do's" would definitely include going to the shrimp trucks in Kahuku down the road, Turtle Bay Resprt for a nice dinner and/or drinks on the beach, and of course visiting the cozy surf town of Haleiwa and its many shops, restaurants, and art galleries.
There is of course the variety of wonderful beaches around the No. Shore area to be explored as well.
Whatever you decide you will be sure to have an incredible time while you are here in our beautiful islands.

a must do is to go to Dillingham Field and sky jump unless u r a strong swimmer b careful of where u go currents n as Steve has already mentioned don't for get the shaved ice @ Matsumoto's n depending on your taste buds go to Papa 'Ole's @ Hau'ula on the way back home stop @ Mormon Temple Laie Laie lookout, n if u like hot Giovanni's shrimp truch in Kahuku

While you are at north shore ( Haleiwa Town ) rent some SUP boards, and paddle down the river in the late afternoon. If you do this activity about an hour prior to sunset, you'll see many many sea turtles swimming in groups up the river WITH you - as this is how the sea turtle's "end their day" and take shelter. Pretty cool thing to do :)
Also, if you've never been zip-lining before, visit GO ZIP Oahu, in Kaneohe. Good adventurous family fun !
As far as adventurous eats, yes - I agree with visiting one or a few of the many awesome shrimp trucks ( Giovanni's is very popular / we lean towards "Macky's" truck too) ...

It Depends if you like surfing then surfing,some sight seeing around the island,the beach or just relax you know. :D
