Description:

  • The finest dining here outside The Homestead, this charmer occupies the old mill building at the Inn at Gristmill Square in Warm Springs, thus is its name derived from the huge water wheel that once powered the grist. The signature dish here is mountain trout lightly breaded with cornmeal and walnuts; it's a tasty twist on Southern cooking. The crispy roasted duck is another favorite. There's an extensive wine cellar, from which you can partake pre- or après-meal in the tiny, one-table pub.
