Hed Kandi

Description:

• Hed Kandi's better known as a nightclub, but it's also worth a try for dinner. The influence of the German chef is obvious with offerings such as goulash and beef bordelaise in red wine sauce with a mound of roesti potatoes and crispy steamed veggies. They also serve excellent pizza and pasta and offer vegetarian alternatives at very reasonable prices. Atmosphere is more party than fine-dining, but the food holds its own with the best in town, with the advantage that the evening can move seamlessly to beachside dancing without the hassle of driving somewhere or finding a taxi.
