- With four-poster beds, period decor and a medieval atmosphere, this 14th century tower is one of the most romantic places to stay on the island, the location could hardly be more spectacular. It is a listed historic building standing high in the old town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), next door to the cathedral, overlooking the city and the bay. Every bedroom has a Jacuzzi. Closed: January, February and March. High season: June-September.
