  • There is plenty of nighttime entertainment in Boise to keep you occupied. Downtown offers a wide range of bars and theaters for everyone to enjoy. You must stop by one of downtown’s newer establishments, the Bardenay for some refreshing libations. The restaurant and distillery specializes in combining fine liquor, beer, and wine selections with casual northwest cuisine. In order to partake in the full dining experience with their homemade Rum you must try the Caribbean Cassis Martini and order the Rum Pepper Steak. Additionally, you should visit Hannah’s. This nightspot is popular among locals and tourists alike. You can hear live music, and dance, or play pool, video games, and darts. There is much to do here, but be sure you’ve ordered a frosty beer or two before the night is over. If theater is your gig you should buy tickets to see a show at the Stage Coach Theater. At this community theater, a talented troupe of actors performs some of the best contemporary American theater in the West.

Don’t let Boise’s western themes and Rodeos take up too much of your time during your visit here, because in this town you’ll also be able to get your fill of the arts. Southeast Boise for example, offers visitors the opportunity to see some fantastic theater and live performances. At the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, located right on the Boise State University campus, you’ll be able to see symphonies, ballets, choirs, and famous musicians. The acoustics and the intimacy despite the 2,000 seat size are unbelievable and there is no bad seat in the house. For instance, check out the Boise Philharmonic or Ballet Idaho and you’ll be able to see something truly superb.
