• Pengilly's, located in the part of downtown known as Old Boise, really does reflect a taste of what Boise might have been in bygone eras. The bar has that old west flair to it. The decor is all dark wood. They don't pretend to be a restaurant. And best of all, you can get live music of the more adult variety than a lot of the club-style bars. Like swing, jazz, and rock. A small dance floor accommodates the dozen or so people who feel moved to dance. If you want to relax and be able to have a conversation, this is a perfect place to go.
