Shopping in Idaho

What's a trip without some shopping? Even I, who generally am not big on shopping, spend some time shopping when I travel. Not so much for souvenirs, but for unique items from the local shops. Tastes in shopping range from the boutique to the mall, from the cheap to the extravagant.

So this list will give you a variety of places to spend your hard-earned bucks. Capital City Market is Boise's premier farmer's market where you'll find fresh foods, local delicacies, and hand made items from local artisans. Sun Valley Resort has dozens of elegant shops to tempt you. Taters sells Idaho made items for souvenir hunters. Davies-Reid combs the globe for special, one-of-a-kind pieces, while Dunia Marketplace sells items that support fair trade artisans around the world. Boise Towne Square Mall has all the standard stores most malls have, perfect place for a mall rat.
