Description:
- When it was built in 1915 as an integral part of the Boise Irrigation Project and one of several dams along the Boise River, the Arrowrock Dam and Reservoir was the tallest dam in the world. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 350-foot-tall dam and 18-mile-long reservoir also hosts campers, fishermen, swimmers and boating enthusiasts. Camping facilities are available at Cottonwood Creek, Irish Point and Willow Creek.
