• When visitors come to Boise, I like to give them a quick tour I call Quirky Sites in Boise. One of the first places on the list is the Blue Turf (I capitalize it) at Bronco Stadium, home of the Boise State Broncos. The football team has made a national name for themselves in recent years, and they have an almost unbeatable record at home on the Blue Turf.
  
  If you've seen it on TV, be prepared. It's even more vibrant and wild in real life than you thought. Probably because it's so huge, the size of...well, a football field.
  
  Boise State fans and students love the Blue Turf, so don't be shy about asking to see it.
