- Milfred and Mattie Givens were pioneers traveling the Oregon Trail in 1979 when they came upon this beautiful area in southern Idaho filled with abundant wildlife, water, and hot springs. They decided to end their journey and put down roots here.
In the 1900s, they built a bath house and a hotel to accommodate guests.
Today, the springs includes an indoor hot pool, camping, and recreational opportunities like hiking and fishing.
