Description:
- This area is considered by many to be the most beautiful beach at Lake Tahoe. All the amenities for an enjoyable stay can be found including boat launches and picnic areas. You can also check out some of the gorgeous homes along the shore like the Wattel Mansion, home of one of California's former governors. The beach is the setting for the annual Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival that takes place during the last five weeks before Labor Day. Parking and boat launching fees.
