Description:
- Located on 9,000 acres in the Lake Tahoe State Park, this ski area provides the most picturesque views and trails in the area. The staff beautifully grooms and maintains all 20 interconnected trails daily on this 90-mile system. The summit elevation is 9,100 feet with a 2,100-foot vertical drop. Eight intermediate and eight advanced trails are offered for all age groups. Lessons and rentals are available for an additional cost. Prices vary season to season.
If you want to stay in the area overnight, cabin rentals are available above Spooner Lake. Most of these cabins are accessed by hiking, snowshoes or skis. - © NileGuide2013
