• The Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences is part of the UC Davis campus in California. This educational center has something for everyone including self-guided and docent-led tours, group and student tours, lectures and hands-on activities. Children and adults will learn about the ecological balance of Lake Tahoe and how to keep Tahoe blue. The sustainably designed and constructed center contains a virtual research vessel, a 3-D lab that lets user go under the water, a virtual science lab. It's open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm plus Saturdays 10 am-4pm during peak season.
