- Wagner! Sche has been Innsbruck's traditional university bookstore for more than three hundred years. Therefore, they have books on all the academic disciplines. However, there is also a broad range of general non-fiction books as well as a large children's book department. Their fiction and poetry selection is among the best in town and in terms of foreign languages, it definitely deserves the title of number one. They also have a broad program of international comic books that is a gem for collectors. The staff are competent and always friendly, and their order service is as quick as it is reliable. The bookstore's interior is bright and airy, and since their last refurbishment in 1998, there is a small cafe and bar on the first floor, right amidst the book shelves. There, you can browse through diverse books over a cup of coffee in a stress-free atmosphere. Also watch out for the readings that take place every now and then.
