• Chez Maggie is a chain of pizza places in Peru. They have locations in Cuzco and Aguas Calientes as well. It is by far the best pizza in Iquitos, hands down. Located just one block from the Plaza de Armas on Av. Raimondi, it is very easy to get to. Two floors of comfortable, well decorated space provides a great atmosphere for the perfect pizza eating experience in Iquitos. They have a menu in spanish that features dozens of different pizza combinations, but you can make your own as well. The type of pizza is thin crust, cooked in a clay oven on the first floor. I recommend eating upstairs, as it is usually a bit quieter and more peaceful. They have a full bar, and even have some good local wine, at least South American, that is. It is clean and the service is good, but it is the pizza that makes Chez Maggie such a wonderful place. It really rivals many pizza places in the US with its delicious pizza, and offers a few choices that you just won't find elsewhere, like banana avacado pizza. I definitely recommend Chez Maggie if you are a tourist in Iquitos missing the flavor of home. What better to make you feel good than a few slices of delicious pizza?
