Emoliente cart

    • The emolient cart is a great way to get a healing brew that is also delicious and affordable. Usually operating near the market of Belen, sometimes the carts make their way to the Plaza de Armas. If your stomach is upset or you're feeling low on energy, this is the best pick me up. It just cost one or two soles for a mixture of mallow, linseed, maca, lemongrass, and some other helpful herbs that combine to form a warm, gelatinous brew that is easy to drink, thanks to some honey and lemon, and will help a cough, a sore throat, an upset stomach, or just a feeling of low energy or motivation. Always a good idea after a night of eating fried foods or drinking too much.
