- Kikiriki is a famous local spot for rotisserie chicken, called pollo a la brasa. It is a two story restaurant located just one block from the Plaza de Armas, on the corner of Napo and Huallaga, right across from El Rancho and next to El Carbon. While I personally think that El Rancho serves higher quality food, the serving sizes at Kikiriki are much larger for the same price. Plus, this hot spot stays open late and is usually packed late on a friday or saturday night. It's a bit rough on the atmosphere, as it is basically a big hall with tables and food getting served everywhere. A lot of food gets served to go, and if you mistakenly think you need to ask at the counter for your meal, you will definitely be getting it to go. If you plan on eating it there, then just sit down at a table, if you can find one amidst the chaos and a waiter will eventually take your order. Like I said, when it's busy, it's pretty crazy, but if it's late and you're really hungry. Kikiriki is definitely an option to consider, especially because it's good food fast and cheap.
