• Maria's Cafe is located just one block from the Plaza de Armas and is one of only a few places in Iquitos that has an espresso machine. At Maria's you can get a shot of espresso, a cappuccino, a mocha, or just a regular cup of brewed coffee. You can also get a piece of chocolate cake or apple pie, and they also have a few menu items like fruit salads and sandwiches. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable and they have ample reading material to pass the time. Maria's proximity to the center of town makes it a great place to visit for the best coffee in Iquitos. It is just a few meters from the best book store in Iquitos, the best corner market in Iquitos, and the best hostal in Iquitos. Located on the corner of Nauta and Fitzcaral, Maria's is open in the mornings and evenings but closed in the afternoon. Stop by for a coffee and something sweet...
