Here's another restaurant that has gained a stylish reputation. It's in the very heart of the city on a back street, crammed into a tiny patio with fanciful umbrellas shading the tables. The chairs are comfortable, the table settings lovely, and the selection of mezedes (appetizers) varied. The creative Italian menu features lots of pasta dishes, such as a delicious rigatoni with a broccoli-and-Roquefort cream sauce. Treat yourself at least once to Iraklion's "in" place.
