• Since 1978 University of California, Irvine has been inviting community members to a 16th century holiday banquet hosted by King Henry VIII. The recreation of the royal festivity is a six-course feast fit for a king. The music, the costumes, and the menu vary from year to year, but authenticity of the era in each of the cheerful performances never falters.
