Rumeli Café

• Housed in a former printworks, the atmospheric Rumeli Café was transformed into a café-restaurant by the owners of the Nomade Hotel, with the help of Nicos Papadakis - the architect who designed the Hotel Empress Zoe. The spacious interior design features exposed red brickwork and dark stained wooden floors. During the summer, several tables are set out on Ticarethane Sokak, a pedestrianised street just off Divan Yolu. In winter, customers warm their cockles sitting beside the crackling open fire inside. The menu offers excellent traditional Turkish cuisine with a Mediterranean-Greek flavour.
