  • Description:

    • In the place, where Sortie is located today, there used to be one of the finest clubs in the city, called Pasha, followed by Laila and now Sortie. The atmosphere of the clubs that used to exist here were all very similar to Reina in their nature and with their clientele. There did existed a belief that those who were turned away from Reina, took their breaths at Laila and Sortie -with the exception of Pasha. Nevertheless, Sortie has done a lot to change its image and to refine its clientele in the recent summer of 2009, by redecorating the entire club area as a replica of Beyoglu / Taksim. The redecoration consisted of establishing small booths for street vendors selling typical products of Beyoglu, such as chestnuts and Beyoglu chocolates. As with Reina, Sortie also has a change of seasons: the club and the array of restaurants move in for the winter, and they move out into the vast area next to the Bopshorus in summers. The selection of restaurants also change from one season to the other, but usually do comprise a selection of the local traditional kebab houses, fish restaurants and example of the world cuisine. For more than a year now, Etiler Samdan Restaurant also moves into Sortie for the summers.
