Upscale Istanbul Bars may remind you off "Gossip Girl". These bars and clubs are frequented often by models, actors, actresses, young 'wanna-be's, adolescent children of a well-to-do crowd, young professionals earning good, suited up business men etc. etc.
These are the places to be seen, as well as to see people. Some of the following places line up along Kurucesme coastline across from each other. At these Kurucesme clubs such as Reina or Blackk, local popular music is often the preferred choice, although you may hear Lady Gaga shrieking Paparazzi as well. Paparazzi is indeed also there as they often do chase the local famous lot through Etiler, Nisantasi and Bebek (upscale towns).
However at other Upscale bars, where you do not get to dance around and move that belly, you will hear classic music, maybe jazz or nothing at all. Among such places Bebek Bar is an epitome much preferred by an elite business crowd. Yet at some other trendy and hip Soho style bar / lounges, you will get to move around a little, chat a lot and act as you wish... Whichever upscale version you wish to attend to, you will not get lonely and you will have a lot of fun.
