  • The Best of NileGuide

  • When you come to Nisantasi you need to have dressed up a little bit... Nisantasi is like the Champs Elysees of Istanbul and as such it is a quite fashionable town. That does not mean that you should look as if you have just jumped out of a fashion show, but you should be hip and trendy. Tiny tip: Do bring out your sunglasses even if there is only a tiny bit of sunshine...

The neighborhood of Nisantasi is elitist and chic; and so are its restaurants, which will give you an authentic taste of life here. Whether it is a branch of House Cafe you choose to seat yourself at (and by the way there are three branches of this popular cafe in Nisantasi -specifically one inside their new hotel above Prada, is unknown to many); or at a more elegant cafe/bar like the Brasserie or Zanzi Bar, you will notice how elegant in their own way the people are.

Food variety is mixed in Nisantasi, you do find authentic Turkish food at Hunkar or Tatbak; but you find more people and Nisantasi watching at the popular cafes and bars. So, enjoy!
