  • There’s only so many museums and monuments one can take. When you start itching for fresh air and open spaces, it’s time to delve into the outdoor activities of Istanbul. You don’t need to be a fitness guru to enjoy the natural wonders of Istanbul either; these activities come just as active or relaxed as you’d like. Drive out to Kilyos, to the coast of the Black Sea. Eat some fish at a simple fish restaurant. Take your books with you and lay your back on the Kilyos beaches and read a little. If you rather be in the green, head to the forests of Istanbul. Belgrad Forest is one of the most frequented with two different walking&jogging tours of 7 and 14 kms each. If you rather not head so much out of the city, hit the Bosphorus coast. Walk, run or just sit on a bench and relax.
