• Mavra is one of those places that you can run to, whether it is for a cup of coffee, a couple of friendly faces or to have a word or two -which is also the literary meaning of the word mavra- with its owner or other frequenters. Grab your laptop and head to Mavra, spend hours drinking one cup of tea, followed by another cup of coffee and type your report, make your review, finish your work... It is one of those places where it is ok to be alone and to occupy the table for hours. There are Sunday brunches -open buffet- for approximately 10 euros per person. Nothing too fancy, but a lot of home-cooked breads and pastry accompanied by fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and a variety of cheese. The menu is also nothing fancy... Just a few bites to ease your hungry stomach. Lots of coffee, lots of tea, cocktails and lots of chatter...
