Enjoy a meal served fresh from fresh hand and paired with a good wine

Description:

Culinary Arts Academy opened a mini restaurant for its own student-interns to cook, serve and earn. As such the mini restaurant has been named "Okulun Mutfagi" or in English: The Kitchen of the School / Academy. Students who finish one or two terms at the Academy are allowed to work here as interns (if they are willing to or if they have been advised to). These student-interns naturally do more than just cooking. Fresh-comers take orders and serve during their first two months. Later on they shall move into the kitchen where they dip elbows in to cook with Gökhan Sorguç. Gökhan Sorguç is a famout Turkish chef who has worked in Michelin Starred Restaurants and with Gordon Ramsay.

All ingredients used in cooking at the school are chosen with great care. For instance, tomatoes for the tomato soup arrive from Çorum, which is a small city in the Marmara Region that produces a specific type of tomato at a specific small amount (53 kg) each year.

Students are also advised about wine and food pairings and they even go through training. Therefore, relax and enjoy a meal served fresh from fresh hand and paired with a good wine.
