Que tal Tapas&Bar

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

The organic local wine made from replica Spanish grapes is worth a try Reservations are a must

    Description:

    • Que Tal is one of the few modern and tasteful tapas houses in the city. It is also quite new (2010). The owners are two sophisticated and sympathetic young ladies with an interest in Spain and a love for food. The idea on which Que Tal runs is to have lots of choices in small sizes; such that you can assemble a table of small plates and a good wine for share.

On the menu are lots of cold and hot tapas dishes. Not all tapas dishes are decadents of the Spanish kitchen. There are also a variety of modernized local tastes such as humus blended with beetroot and sardines rolled into grape-vine leaves grilled. Other dishes include fried chick peas, a variety of grilled and sauced fish including squid, beef dishes, mini meatballs and risotto balls.

Wine goes quite well with all the dishes; but there is also a good variety of cocktails and sangria. Martinis are especially quite good.
