• Tokyo is located in Beyoğlu / Taksim and is thus much preferred by tourists and expatriates working in the region. Tokyo has been in existence since 2006. It does not only has a diverse clientele when compared to other Japanese restaurants, it also serves in a diverse and more authentic fashion as well. Due its location, Tokyo is very close to a number of consulates and embassies. It is thus that it attracts expatriates. In terms of its authentic service, Tokyo has a separate upper level for private organizations or reservations. This level is called the "tatami" room. One cannot enter the Tatami Room with his / her shoes on. Thus, private dinners inside Tatami Room resembles very much a dinner or an occasion from the Japanese culture. Prices do not burn here in Tokyo as it does in several other sushi restaurants in Istanbul. A decent dinner would cost around 50 – 60 TRY.
