Description:
This 19th century zindan han ("dungeon" or prison) on the docks of Eminönü was restored by the Storks chain of jewelry shops, which has filled the lower five stories with high-end retailers and topped it all off with a panoramic restaurant on the sixth floor. And because the restaurant is set in a pentagon shaped pavilion with glass walls, the 360-degree panorama alone is giving the nearby Hamdi a run for its money. Zinhan specializes in kebaps typical of Southern Anatolia and is already a mandatory lunch stop on personalized day tours that have the Egyptian Spice Market on its itinerary.
