- Located within Topkapı Sarayi, Aya Irini is one of most beautiful structures in the city. The place was originally a church, however, after the place was recaptured, it was not converted back into a Mosque, but was abandoned and used as a warehouse. Now, Aya Irini has been converted into a museum, and houses some very beautiful fine art by some old painters and artists. If you are in the city, ensure that you do not miss exploring this structure.
