Description:
- Golden Horn or Haliç Congress Center was opened in 2009 with the World Water Forum that took place in Istanbul. Since then it has been host to many great cultural events including concerts by great musicians and orchestras.
The Congress Center is next to the coast of Haliç. Although it is not totally central and is not in walking distance to anywhere specific, the Center is well connected to the rest of the city via public transport. Minibuses run from the Center to Şişhane (tip of Beyoğlu). The Center is also 20 minutes away from the airport (given there is no traffic).
The Congress Center is approximately 86.000 sqm (closed area) and has 4 main enclosed spaces for theater, exhibitions, concerts and events.
