Description:
- An ensemble of professional dancers come together at the Hodja Cultural Center (Hoca Kültür Merkezi) in Sirkeci to stage folk dances from different parts of Anatolia. The shows are held three days a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 20:00; and Saturdays at 21:00. The dance shows last for about an hour. Prices are 50 TRY including complimentary drinks and snacks. In the foyer inside the Culture Center, there are also exhibitions presenting the history of dance from at least 10,000 years ago. The building inside which the Culture Center is founded is also a must-see complex. It is 550 years old and is used as a market place -as well as a Culture Center- today.
