Istanbul Ottoman Relics Half-Day Tour: Topkapi, Suleymaniye Mosque, Grand Bazaar

Description:

  • Spend the afternoon exploring Istanbul's Ottoman past at the enchanting Topkapi Palace, superb Suleymaniye Mosque and bustling Grand Bazaar.

Your four-hour afternoon tour begins at spectacular Topkapi Palace, for centuries the main residence of the Ottoman sultans. The palace features delightful Ottoman architecture, exquisite tile work, the mysteries of the harem, the treasury jewels, outdoor pools and gardens, and spectacular views of the Bosphorus.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Suleymaniye Mosque, the largest mosque in Istanbul, built in the 1550s. With its four minarets and cluster of domes, the beautiful mosque dominates the skyline and is a city symbol.

After a short visit to the ancient Roman Hippodrome, you'll take an escorted tour of the Grand Bazaar, where you can spend time wandering through 3,000 shops!

Please note: The Grand Bazaar is not open on Sundays.
