- The Magic Ice/ Ice Museum opened in Istanbul on the 23rd of April to coincide with the Children's Day. It is the first time that this museum is being opened in a mild climate destination such as Istanbul. As far as it is known, the museum will be up for a year for now. The inside atmosphere of the museum is always -5 C. Whilst a nice escapade during the hot times such as the summer days, it will be pretty cold during the winter. There is enough extra clothing and jackets made available to the visitors, but no shoes and no leggings are provided. So if you will be visiting during the summer, make sure that you are wearing your Converse at least. Coming in with your flip flops may be lethal to your feet.
