• Kopado's has become the alternative hot nightspot in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo for those who don't want discotheque, strobe lights or high priced drinks.  The unique open air bar is located in a treehouse-style space and is much larger than meets the eye.  It gets packed early, especially on nights with live music, but there always seems to be room to squeeze in a few more seats around the stage.  Rock bands are brought in from around Mexico for 1-3 week gigs and draws a broad range of locals, Mexican nationals on vacation and gringos all looking for good music, cold beer, heavy poured tequila and a late loud night.
