This storied heritage is well-preserved and on full display at this modern museum just north of downtown. Virtually every genre of music is represented—jazz,country,gospel, rock and the king of it all, the Mississippi Delta blues. Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Ike and Tina Turner, and the king of Mississippi music, Elvis Presley, are well-documented through films, interviews, recordings and memorabilia.
