Description:
Opened in 2003, this museum of contemporary art is one of the Southeast's largest, housed in the renovated Western Union Telegraph Building and featuring five changing exhibition galleries, an ArtExplorium Loft, children's interactive center, education studios, auditorium, cafe, and shop. Permanent works are impressive and include works by Ed Paschke, Hans Hoffmann, Joan Mitchell, and James Rosenquist.
