- Iranamadu (Ranamaduva) Tank, Kanakampikai Kulam (Pond), and Kilinochchi Kulam are the major irrigation source for paddy and various villages and factory's in this area. There was a big battle to capture back this very important tank. The LTTE tried to destroy several times the tank.
