Bob Marley Week

Description:

  • A reggae fan in Jamaica simply cannot miss out on this! Annual celebrations take place all over the beautiful city to commemorate Bob Marley's birthday, who succumbed to cancer in 1981. A host of events, including concerts, lectures, forums, karaoke competitions, fashion parades, movies and displays take place at every nook and cranny in town, especially at the Bob Marley Museum. This, the singer's former home and studio, reflects the city's passion for reggae and its biggest star by playing host to many related events. Visitors can walk into most of the venues for free.
