Description:
- Lover's Leap was named after a long-ago runaway slave couple of Jamaican legend, who leapt to their deaths from this rocky cliff rather than be separated and returned to captivity. Nowadays it's one of the south coast's most well-known tourist attractions. Visitors can either enjoy the view from the top, where there's an observation deck, lighthouse, gift shop, meeting space, bar and restaurant, or more adventurous types can venture the 1,750 feet down the rocky footpath to the ocean. Hiking is free, but admission to the observation deck costs $2, and it's open from 10am - 6pm.
