Description:
- This museum offers a compelling exhibition of relics reminiscent of island's slavery era. These include bowls, sugar mills and implements of punishment such as ankle shackles. Old technological items of this period are also on display such tools used in the sugarcane plantation. It is located in the square of the old colonial city of Spanish Town next door to another Jamaican landmark, Old King's House. A visit here will transport one back into an era that has molded Jamaica's cultural heritage.
