1 to 2 mile guided walking tour in the rainforest incl transfer starting in ocho rios
looking for some rainforest experience... is there still some proper rainforest left with huge trees? which place do you suggest?we would like to walk just a short stretch (to hot and warm for us used to the cold..) with a guide who knows a little about plants and animals that can be seen... maybe 1 to max 2 miles? don't mind steep or hard to walk terrain, as long as it is not all the way through -we are on holidays:-). transfer to the suggested place included, from our hotel in ocho rios.preferred language: german, but english is ok too, middle of january

Fern Gully is the rain that I wowuld recommend that you visit it is pretty close to Ocho Rios, approximately 7 minutes drive, it is a three mile river gorge/rain forest an offers a senic drive - a drive through the forest is what I would recommend as it is a major roadway.

Hello, I would reccomend the Sun Valley farm, Take a stroll through this Plantation and see the many plants that we have only heard about. Like the vanilla plant aloe Vera and much more. also the Fern Gully is another option but is not too safe since it is the main road and does not have a side walk my email is enchanted_tours@yahoo.com 1-876-356-5750 official tour guide

The best walking tours are in Port Antonio they have serval to choose from. However if you want untouched areas you should take a hike in the cockpit country they start in Trelawny and St James look on Jamaicas Caving website for more info.

Hi, I would reccomend the Bogue Rain Forest which runs along the Bouge River - it is acutally the source of the Dunns River Water Falls. I recently took some kids up there. Very beautiful indeed and the trees and greenery are awesome! Just about five minutes drive from the town center of Ocho Rios. Can send you some pics from our last trip there. Let me know. Prickley Pole is one mile from the Bob Marley Village, its a interesting part of the Cockpit country and there is a long winding road with different plants and animals that live wild and is also cultivated by farmers. You could also decide to take a walk with me to my farm that is 20 minutes away from the main road. one the way there you will experience Jamaica's rain forest at its best, birds, mongoose, cows, donkeys, goats and all different types of medicinal plants, that has been untouched for over 50 years
