We are celebrating our daughters 25th birthday end of March next year. We also have an 8 year old daughter.
Can you give us suggestions to where to go for a special evening/dinner/event to fit both of the girls? We are staying in Ocho Rios

I live in Ocho Rios, we have the Spring Garden Restaurant for Seafood, The Evita's Restaurant for Italian dinners, Ruins by the Waterfalls for a wide variety of dishes, there is also the Margaritaville. if you are planning to do any tours or need to move around then you can email me @ enchanted_tours@yahoo.com 1-876-356-5750

In Ocho Rios, there a a variety of options: Italian at Evita's which hangs off the hillside with a breathtaking ocean view, Hard Rock Cafe on the Hip Strip, Margaritaville in Island Village Mall, A few other restaurants in this Mall as well (their names I don't recall at the moment) which specialise in grilled food. The Ruins, which is quaintly set in lush, cascading waterfall backdrops, is home to a variety of international cuisine. If you dare for some Jamaican authentic cuisine, then the Jerk Centre, though most times is a bit noisy due to high patronage, is at the entrance onto Main Street from the main road leading to Fern Gully. At the end of it all, I'd recommend a stroll in Island Village where you'll find Devon House ice cream that I promise, you will deem as the best you've ever had. Wishing you the very best for your family's trip to my beautiful island paradise!

Fine Dining is not just limited to 'restaurants' and the ones mentioned in the other answers are all nice places for family dinner but you could also consider getting a day pass for one of the many 5 star hotels and dine there and stay for the evening's entertainment especially if its a Jamaica night.

Hi. Nice to hear from you. I am going to suggest Mystic Mountain. With this you could all enjoy one of those aerial ride over the rain forest. The scenery is good and it takes you to a fabulous restaurant. Depending on the girl's personalities, they may also want to go Bob Sledding or swimming at the same location. Pictures for memory purposes can also be taken. I would like to hear from you how this works our. Have a good time.

I would suggest H2O where Tanya Stephens owns and can be seen and heard with many other singers on different nights. Island Village has a myriad of stores and restaurants and a cinema for enjoyment of all.

Well Ocho Rios has many restaurants and fine eateries catering mainly for visitors to our beautiful island. Some of those restaurants like the Cafe Auberigine, Evitas etc are of international repute. However if it is that you want to eat like a native you could try the Island Grill Restaurant.
