Description:
Portland is Jamaica's greenest parish reputed anecdotally to have daily rainfall. It features lush green landscapes, beautiful white sand beaches, wade-able rivers and waterfalls and is relatively untouched by development/urbanization.
Day Note:
Portland is not exactly the most 'touristy' place and getting there will take some planning. There is no airstrip and it's a long ride from (Montego Bay) Mobay or Kingston (but closer to Norman Manley International airport).
