Description:
- Sponsored by the Astoria Hotel, the Jasper Root Romp is a 10-km trail race that takes runners, walkers and hikers through the rough Canadian Rockies, dense forests and chilly Aspen groves of Jasper. One of the toughest races in North America, the event is held annually on the third Saturday of October. Locals and visitors compete in the event to enjoy breathtaking views while working their way through 10 km of rugged, challenging trails.
